NEWS AND INSIGHTS UPDATE:

Are you destroying your career by hanging onto fears that limit your chances for success? Alexis Wolfer writes for Levo League and warns women in business that three common fears could stop you from reaching your career goals:

1. Fear of failure.

Alexis warns, “Failure is a necessary step on the path to success. It allows you to push past your comfort zone and find the true limits of your success without regard to what you think those limits may be.”

2. Fear of not being perfect or not achieving perfection.

Alexis says, “Perfect doesn’t exist. It never will. And while you’re sitting around waiting for it, someone else is making progress.”

3. Fear of quitting.

Alexis explains, “If you know something is going to fail (which isn’t a bad thing) or if you just aren’t enjoying it anymore, then the work you’ve already put in is a sunk cost. It’s done; it’s time you’re never getting back. Accept this and move on, because the more time you continue to put in to pursuing something that won’t come to fruition – either due to your lack of passion or possibility – the more time you’re wasting.”

Are you holding onto fears that are keeping you from reaching your goals? It’s time to rid yourself of those fears and open the doors to the success you deserve!
