Even though men have stepped up considerably to help out with parenting, housework, etc., most women still feel that they are responsible to insure the work gets done, someone takes the kids to the doctor, attends the parent-teacher conference and take care of aging parents. However, I thinki we're only going to make this possible when economists and governments start considering all this work as valid work-- equally as important to the GDP as grinding out the latest software widget.
