Allison, that's so true! It drives me crazy when people who arrive late every day and put in no effort at all complain that they hate their jobs. Of course you're going to hate it if you're actively making yourself bored...

I adore my job, and as time goes on it becomes more and more what I want (as I keep achieving goals and making it exactly as I want it). There are people around though that spend a lot of time complaining about their jobs, day after day, month after month, then years after many many years. I used to care and listen - but then saw that plenty of those complainers have ABSOLUTELY no intention of ever doing anything about it. I will now only spend time listening to people that are actually prepared to put in effort and make changes. Serial complainers do nothing but drain MY energy - which I wont tolerate!

Very true, Susan. I work partly from home, partly in an office environment, but I love both. I think people forget that happiness requires effort, rather than just being something that 'happens'.
