HP’s Small Business Contest

Hewlett-Packard (NYSE: HPQ) has a great contest going on for small business owners. It’s open for entries through February 28, 2008. It’s called the “What do you have to say?” Small Business Contest, and one small business owner in the U.S. will win an opportunity to build their brand and differentiate their business.

Here are the prizes for the winner of HP’s small business contest:

  • Logoworks by HP Gold Start Up Package: includes up to eight original logo concepts and an unlimited number of revisions, a customized stationery package, website design (basic, three-page design), and 500 business cards
  • HP color laserjet printer CP3505dn
  • A supplies package:Â includes a full set of toner print cartridges and a variety of HP specialty papers
  • HP Marketing Resource Software: a suite of tools that can help you produce professional-quality marketing material with your new HP Color LaserJet printer

A second-place finalist will receive a new HP Color LaserJet with the HP Marketing Resources software and a supplies package. One third-place finalist will receive an HP Officejet ProL7680 All-in-One with a supplies package.

This contest is open to small businesses with 99 employees or less located in the United States.

Here’s how to enter the HP Small Business Contest:

Follow the link to the HP Small Business Contest entry form to submit your entry. You will have to provide some personal and business information as well as an online essay of up to 400 words, describing “your small business, your marketing and branding challenges, and why you would benefit most from refreshing or creating a new brand image for your business.” You can also submit up to three digital photos to support your essay and to show “what you have to say.”
