You should definitely try tapping the Japanese market. They sell great stationary and love new characters they can connect to greeting cards, notepads and other paper goods. Sunafukin? Hello Kitty? Also, the Japanese are big fan with all things foreign, contrary to popular belief. Take a trip to Tokyo and look up the Stationary stores in Ginza or the small pen shops around the city. You will be amazed how many are still profiting from the card business!
