I got laid off from my ten year job today. I am so disappointed and feel let down. I have health problems. I have a knee surgery pending for next week which I will have to cancel as my health insurance will run out in two days. I have a minor child to support. The day I got laid off my physician also told me to go out on disability as I have Multiple Sclerosis as well. Do you have any advise for someone in my situation? I am at a loss. I had long term disability insurance, however they were terminated immediately. I don wonder if there is recourse for me to still be entitled to the LTD as I was recommended that same day to do so. Any ideas for me? Thank you
