NEWS AND INSIGHTS UPDATE:

Research by Randstad Canada identified what women and men want from employers, so recruiters can more successfully attract and retain the right talent. The results show very different priorities between male and female employees. The Network of Executive Women reported:

“Although the majority of both male and female employees in Canada say they want long-term job security from an employer, their views differ greatly when determining what makes an employer attractive. Women prefer flexible working arrangements (49% more important vs. men), accessibility (28% more important), pleasant working atmosphere (23 percent more important), competitive salary (19% more important) and good work-life balance (17% more important). Men, however, prefer financially sound companies (42% more important vs. women) with strong management (37% more important) that offer global career prospects (86% more important) and good training (17% more important).”

Does your company know what current and prospective employees really want from their employers?
