IMPORTANT: We do not negotiate sponsored post fees or guidelines and all posts are required to be marked as sponsored with the advertiser’s name. We don’t respond to email messages asking us to negotiate the fee or how the advertiser disclosure appears because the answer will always be no.
CONTENT: For paid posts, as long as the article is not self-promotional, is useful to women in business (i.e., about a business-related topic), has not been published elsewhere, and adheres to the guidelines below, we should be able to publish it. Do not provide images as we only publish our own images. Sponsored posts are published in the “Women On Business Partners” category, and the author is identified as “Contributor.” No additional or different categories, authors, or tags are allowed.
LINKS/INDEXING: One do-follow keyword link is allowed to the advertiser’s website, and the post should be a minimum of 600 words. No additional links of any kind to the advertiser’s website are allowed. Any other included links must lead to highly authoritative sites and may be set to no-follow at the discretion of Women On Business. Only the advertiser’s one do-follow link can include referral code. All other links must lead directly to the destination site without UTM codes or any other tracking code. Affiliate links are not allowed. Women On Business may remove or replace additional no-follow links or remove referral code on any link but the advertiser’s one do-follow link at its discretion. Women On Business does not add additional HTML code to the advertiser’s one allowed do-follow link. The post will be searchable and indexed by Google.
PRICE: The price is $55 if you write the article and $155 if we have to write the article. Don’t ask for a discounted rate, because the answer will be no (no matter how many future articles you can send us). We do not respond to messages asking us to negotiate the fee.
Also, if the article you submit does not meet our writing quality standards, you can either rewrite and resubmit it or we can edit it for an additional $25.
ADVERTISER DISCLOSURE / DISCLOSURE OF MATERIAL CONNECTION: All paid posts will be identified as such at the beginning of the post (“Brought to you by Advertiser Name:”) per the FTC’s Code of Federal Regulations (you can read the regulations here). This is non-negotiable. You can see an example here.
We will not alter how sponsored posts are identified, so if you or the advertiser is not comfortable with how the post appears in the example link, then the post won’t be published. Do not ask us to change how we disclose the connection because the answer will always be no (no matter how creative you get).
Do not try to convince us to identify the advertiser as anything but the company that owns the website where the link goes or the company/individual/entity identified in the link anchor text or the website where the link goes. The answer will always be no.
If the advertiser is willing to break the law by not disclosing the material connection, they’ll need to publish their article on another site. We will not publish it without full disclosure at the beginning of the post.
NOT ALLOWED: We do not publish posts written in languages other than English or leading to websites written in languages other than English. We do not publish posts promoting poker, casino and gambling sites, cryptocurrency, blockchain, NFTs, smoking, vaping or tobacco products, online pharmacies, medication, religious or political organizations, pornography, payday loans, cash advances, Forex trading, binary options trading, CFD trading, proxies, data scraping, dating sites, multilevel marketing opportunities or companies, or other topics deemed inappropriate to the audience at our discretion. Affiliate links are not allowed. Also, do not provide images as we only publish images that we own the appropriate license to use.

STEPS TO GET STARTED: Please forward the post that meets these guidelines to susan@womenonbusiness.com for approval. Once approved, an invoice will be sent which will include a link you can use to pay via PayPal. Payment is due via PayPal in advance of the post being published (non-negotiable). Once payment is received, sponsored posts are typically published within 48 hours. If you pay us to write the article for you, the post will be written and sent to you for approval within 72 hours of receipt of payment, and the post will be published within 48 hours of receipt of your approval by email.
REMOVALS: We reserve the right to remove the post or the do-follow link without notice after 12 months from the date of publishing (or earlier if the link is deemed to be harmful to our Google search rankings).
EDITS AFTER PUBLISHING: Any edits requested after publishing must be approved by Women On Business or they will not be made. A $25 upfront payment is required to make any edits after publishing. If edits are substantive, the editing fee may increase up to $100.
REFUNDS: There are no refunds. By submitting payment, you agree to all of the terms outlined above. If you’re a reseller, confirm that your client agrees to all of the terms above prior to submitting payment.
