Management Consulting Firm Earns Women’s Business Enterprise Recertification

July 19, 2010 By WOB

Clarity Management Consulting (www.claritymanagementconsulting.com), a management consulting firm based in Syracuse, New York, was awarded recertification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization-NY (WPEO-NY).

Monica D. Johns, MBA, PMP is Clarity’s president and CEO. Ms. Johns has more than 25 years of technical and business experience. Her background includes engineering, proposal management, sales, product line management, program and project management, outsourcing initiatives, and consulting. She earned her MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University at Buffalo. She received her Six Sigma Black Belt from the Institute of Industrial Engineers. Ms. Johns also holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential conferred by the Project Management Institute.

Clarity Management Consulting transforms businesses from the inside out. With expertise in project management, process improvement, reengineering, and outsourcing, Clarity improves performance on the operations side by increasing quality and productivity levels, thereby reducing waste and cost. These enhancements help clients pursue their strategic vision, whether it is expanding into new markets, providing new products and services, or embarking on new customer initiatives. Clarity Management Consulting is also a nationally certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).

WPEO-NY is a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). WBENC’s national standard of certification implemented by WPEO-NY is a meticulous process that includes a written application, an in-depth review of the business, and a site inspection. The certification process confirms the business is at least 51% owned, operated, and controlled by one or more women.
