Dropshipping

Whether you already have a dropshipping business or want to start one, here are four great product ideas to sell during the coronavirus pandemic and meet people’s needs at the same time.

1. Parenting Products

You can do a lot to serve parents during this time. Remember, parents are going to have to work from home and entertain their children at home at the same time. One  technique that helps with this is having separate spaces so the child knows where they can play. Providing a dedicated space may improve the chance of them staying there as the parents work.

That’s why play mats could be good for you online store. If you want  to explore other ways to sell to parents so they can entertain their children, consider how the coronavirus pandemic has affected their lives at home, and introduce products to help them.

Just make sure that if you’re sourcing products from other suppliers, don’t sell products that children could put in their mouths and potentially choke on. It’s just a liability that you don’t want to have on your plate right. Play mats, on the other hand, are a pretty safe bet.

2. Fitness Accessories

Exercising is what a lot of people are doing to stay fit and even to stay sane while they’re spending more time indoors. One business idea that you can start to cater to the  needs of people who are working out indoors is to sell fitness accessories. Resistance bands are some of the best dropshipping products you can currently sell. They’re a great example of lightweight accessories that people can use to get a great workout from the home.

If you decide to sell something like resistance bands, there’s tons of content opportunities. You can create ‘how to’ guides to give work out ideas and draw people to your store for free.

3. Running Accessories

In some areas, people are still allowed to go outside and go for a run or exercise. As a result, there seem to be more joggers outside than ever before. People are taking up running as a way to get outside and stay fit during this time. You can cater to this group by selling running accessories that makes this hobby easier.

For example, sell a waistband that allows people to carry their essentials with them while they go on a run. In some parts of the world, people need to be carrying proof of my address and a proof of identification whenever they go outside, so a running band like this would be really useful to people in those areas.

4. Hiking Equipment

Another business idea in the sports category is hiking, which is another way that people can get outside while still being  a healthy distance from other people.

Help people develop their hiking habit by offering hiking accessories. That’s a great online business idea for someone who already is a hiker and knows how to speak the language of that market.
