Cliqueit is a cool mobile app for Android devices that can help business women in their professional or personal lives. I asked the team at CliqueIt to share some details about the app for the WomenOnBusiness.com audience, and they sent along the following information.
If you want to share photos only within your desired groups, CliqueIt could be the answer. CliqueIt is a free Android photo share app. You can download it through the CliqueIt site or directly from Android Market, and start using it immediately. No additional software or registration is needed. It has been developed by Recursion Software, a firm in the Dallas Metroplex. They’re encouraging CliqueIt users to send feedback to them, for which there’s also an incentive program.
CliqueIt lets you instantly share photos within mobile phone “cliques” of other Android smartphones, anywhere in the world. A clique can be public or private. You can create your own or join an existing one. As soon as you join a clique, you can send photos directly to the phones of the clique members, and receive photos from them. No need to post the photo elsewhere, so you don’t have to make the photo available for the world to see when you actually want to share it with a few people of your choice.
The picture you send is the whole picture and not just a thumbnail. If the thousand words that the picture tells are not enough, you can also add a caption.
If you choose to form a private clique, then you decide who can join. It’s strictly by invitation, and you, being the “host”, are the one who sends out the invitations. If you form a public clique, then anyone can join in.
CliqueIt runs on Android version 2.1 or higher. Soon, it will also be available on iPhone and other popular smartphones. You can check out some screenshots of CliqueIt below.
